Helios II Laser

Latest innovation from Korea, Helios 2 Laser is more effective in the treatment of melasma, freckles, acne, and skin exfoliation.

What is Helios II?
Helios is a laser technology that has been developed to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of freckles, dark and red nodules, tattoos, tattoo scars, and other pigmentation disorders. Helios laser penetrates epidermal and deep skin layers, and targets the melanin cells to gradually decrease and eventually fade the abnormal pigmentation. The Helios II was developed to be provide a more stable laser energy. The laser beams emitted have equal energy (homogenous) throughout cross-sectional area of the spot size. Using advanced technology called “Cell Lens”, it can deliver laser energy without causing pinpoint bleeding, increasing the treatment’s efficiency and reducing its complications such as rebound hyperpigmentation.

Helios II machine safety
Helios II machine of Natchanok Clinic was legally imported and has passed the certification from Thailand Food and Drug Administration(FDA) and by leading institutions around the world such as United States (US FDA) and South Korea (KFDA) for its high-quality performance and secure standard.

What is the difference between Helios II and other Q-Switched ND: YAG machines?
Helios II is a technology developed to reduce laser therapy side effects that are usually present with other Q-Switched Nd: YAG Laser technology. Helios II can deliver laser beams with lower and controlled energy into the skin layers compared to other Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser. Helios II uses Fractional technology and DOE (Diffraction Optical Element) Lens which helps improve the treatment of melasma and deep layer pigmentations while causing fewer side effects than traditional (Q-switched Nd: YAG).

How it works
Helios II has adopted a technology to send beams of light through “Cell lens”, allowing the laser beam to have the same energy throughout its spot size. Therefore, the treatment does not require very high energy even in reaching deep-seated abnormal skin pigmentations.

What skin problems are suitable for Helios II treatment?
– Treatment of melasma
– Treatment for skin pigment disorders
– Regular skin color adjustment
– Stimulate skin cell renewal
– Reduce pore problems
– Reduce wrinkles and increase skin elastici

What is the treatment course?
Laser treatment with Helios II is divided into 3 levels of treatment design:
1. Superficial skin abnormalities
2. Deep layer abnormalities
3. Irregularities at some points between shallow skin layers anddeep layers
The extent and number of treatments will depend on the depth of the pigmentation; however, most of the abnormalities in the superficial skin level needs about 5 or more sessions.

How will it feel when during Helios II treatment?
While receiving treatment, your face will feel warm. For tattoo removal, topical anesthesia will be applied first prior the procedure so the area will feel numb.
