Thread Lift

The science of silkworm threads converging with the science of face design with unique techniques- elaborately soft and delicate silk threads inserted into the skin to create a youthful, slender, and firm appearance that people cannot guess your real age. With our doctor’s precise and intricate skill in thread lifting, more than 1000 patients have come to the clinic to have it done just by word of mouth, even without advertising. With dextrous hands, the threads are gradually inserted and lined up into the face to lift up the forehead, temples, cheeks, and neck to reduce the wrinkles and grooves. The face becomes contoured, more slender, tauter, and more proportional right after, without the need for painful and time-consuming surgical face lifts. The silk threads that we use are soluble and safe.

Silk thread
Is a kind of silk that is specifically designed for contouring the face. This is suitable for people with moderate facial sagging and for those who want to fix their cheek grooves and drooping corners of the mouth without wanting to have a scar in front of their ears from facelift surgery. The silk thread is made in America, and is certified by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Silk Thread/SMAS Silk- How Different from other Clinics?
We use silk threads with strong silk design that emphasizes on lifting and pulling from the temples, and with stronger tissue-adhesion technology that keeps the effect firmer than other types of silk.

Does it take a long time to recover?
The procedure only takes about one hour. The threads are inserted through a small incision of only 1-2 cm in both temples, and there is no need to shave the hair on the area. There will be some swelling for the first 3 days to 1 week, depending on the individual’s skin and health condition.

How long will the result last?
Once the threads are attached to the facial tissues, the lifting effect can last for 1-3 years depending on the one’s skin condition and face care. Having silk threads will not complicate other facial treatments on later dates, such as laser therapy, botox, Thermage, etc.
